Back to Blogging!

I can't believe I haven't written anything for three months?!?! Oh well...it's been busy and  Craig and I are enjoying the winter here in Park City. There are some things to write about as time has flown by and lots has happened.

1. We miss Maui every day but hope to return maybe for our 1st anniversary. We love the water and beaches there...the fresh fruit every morning...and I am happy my parents loved it so much that I know we will be returning with them to the islands. Here are some pictures of our Maui trip besides those from the wedding.

2. Now back to reality. Craig has really progressed with snowboarding this season. He got so good in park riding that it is now hard for me to keep up with him...though I can still hang with him in the trees and on the slopes haha! The season is coming to an end though and I regret not riding as much as I should have. That's what happens when you start the 9 to 5 work grind...but at least I got to go and that makes me happy. This year we had James and Whitney, Topher and Morgan, Kyle and Heather, and Craig's friends Scott, Ryan and of course our Konrad to visit us. We also got to see Pond skimming and afterwards the Wailers play the famous Exodus album from Bob Marley, which was so fun. Here are some pictures to recap our fun times in the city of Park City.

3. Some changes are coming our way. Now that the season is coming to an end and our lease is up at the end of June, Craig and I started talking about what the most important event is that has to happen next on our agenda as a married couple. Well....we came to the conclusion that Craig is overdue in becoming a college graduate. Hence, we decided to step a way from the fun and sometimes a little crazy life of Park City and move to Orem. This way Craig will be close to school and it'll be much easier for him to attend college. We will officially go apartment hunting and sign a lease as soon as we have found the right place to live. I will have to start commuting to Park City for my job but if that means Craig is getting school done I have no problem doing so. Craig also changed his major to Communication with an emphasis in Journalism. He currently has an internship at Park City TV and loves it. Plus...with this degree he will be able to get done much faster, which I like since we are planning on moving to Europe for a few years after he is done with college...the earlier he gets done the earlier we get to start our traveling adventure :) yeahhhh!

Before we will start this journey though we will be visiting my home in Germany and Switzerland together for the first time this summer. Craig has never been in Europe and since my parents gave us the greatest wedding gift ever...we both get to fly every year to Europe for freeeeeee courtesy of my parents yesssssss! We will explore each year a different part of Europe but also make sure to visit my family at the same time. We are so freaking excited you don't even know how happy this makes us :)

Finally...my parents are coming for Easter and I am super excited. They will bring all kinds of german candies and chocolates and especially my favorite MILKA SCHMUNZELHASE, a biiiigggg chocolate bunny made out of the most delicious chocolate ever. They both will be here for 10 days and will help us with finding an apartment in Orem.

We are both super excited for this summer and can't wait for more adventures. The next one will be Las Cruces in May and I can't wait to eat the delicious mexican food Craig tells me about every day. Love you guys and I promise I will try to keep up on my blogging ;)
